A few years ago, on my old PowerBook 100 I was able to play a Mac space game, that was totally intriguing. I can't remember what it was called, just a few details, but I'd love to find it again and see if an emulator exists… here are the details that I remember:• usually the screen was occupied with a view of the universe, the center of which was a huge cloud that gave off magnetic distortion and messed with your sensors – you could eventually get better sensors that allowed you to navigate through the cloud
• you selected a crew member to give commands to, and then determined the nature of the command: eg Navigator> Send Friendly Message
or Navigator> respond with hostile message and so on
• you mined for minerals on planets by sending down a mining robot which collected things like molybdenum (sp?) which were useful for your ship. I think you could tell the robot what to search for
